PROBLEM WITH THE INTERNET EXPLORER WHILE IN THE WEB THE IMAGES BLINK AND JUMP OUT OF CONTROL. TOSHIBA TECH PEOPLE BLAME THE SOFTWARE OF WINDOWS AND MICROSOFT BLAMES THE HARDWARE. AFTER 20 DAYS UNDER REPAIR NO BODY TAKES RESPONSABILITY, SO I SENT BACK TO AMAZOM AS TOSHIBA DOESN’T CARE. LOST $150.oo DUE SHIPPING CHARGES WHILE I AM AWAY IN BUSINESS AND AMAZOM WON’T CREDIT THAT COST.

The other review are incorrect . This product link is for two models. So if you are looking at the higher priced model it comes with n wireless and supports the upper limit on memory. Get the facts before posting please.

after 10 days of light usage my toshiba won’t get past the start up screen. toshiba’s customer support was’t able to fix it, so now it is off to a service center. 5 days shipping each way and who knows how long it will take for service. i probably won’t see it again for 3-4 weeks. there is no back up cd included (costs $25+ shipping from toshiba)i’m thinking of taking the 15% hit to return it to amazon. also the speaker is junk, the max volume is way to low. the mouse pad, scroll, left and right click buttons are also poorly designed. buyer beware!

Once I adjusted to the new Winblows 7 I love this laptop. Perfect size – as small as you can go and still have a full size keyboard for EZ writing. Good feel – I like it. I chose this unit for the ATI graphics and HDMI output. It is plug and play to my large screen living room TV and works a treat. Took it on a ten hour Paris flight and enjoyed watching HD material in stunning detail that blows the socks off the usual crappy business class monitors in most planes. I got a noticeable bump in performance going to 4MB on the RAM. Battery time is more than sufficient for a days use. The track pad drivers are crap compared to the ones in the larger Satellites. Hoping for a fix down the road but its usable and I paired it up with a Microslob Arc mouse that is EZ to pack and very comfortable to use. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

I purchased this little notebook in March – unseen, based on reviews, and have been very pleased. We travel a lot and its high performance, good battery/low power usage, light weight and Premium Windows 7 features are just what I wanted. I also purchased a DC air/car power adapter to make it truly a world traveller. It does heat up as others have noted so I also picked up a passive cooling pad – it works fine.
