I thought I’d replace my older Uniden TRU8860 with the DECT3080-2. Boy, what a mistake. The 3080 is quite smaller and lighter, but does not have some of the most used features like speed dial and some of the ring tones to identify who is calling. It does have some very generic tones, but they all sound the same. It has cool led lights and backgrounds and you can customize those for who is calling but I dont want to have to get up to find the phone and look at the display to see who is calling. The reception is not that good either. I had many problems with this phone when answering the other person couldnt hear me. I tried it for about 3 weeks and then sent it back. It’s not worth the $80-$120 that your going to spend.
I’m going to do a lot more research to see if I can find another DECT 6.0 phone that works a LOT better. Dont waste your money on this one.

I bought it a month ago and I think are very good and very beautiful. The price may be a little expensive

The battery life is terrible and the damned thing loses the signal when you are in the same room as the base that sends the signal to the handset. It often says out of range when you are in the middle of a conversation. Lousy piece of junk.

Great phone, crystal clear, voice mail from any handset not just the base is nice. The only flaw is I purchased a refurbished model. It works great it just looks a little rough. Be careful when you buy a refurbished product that is not refurbished directly from the manufacture.

We have the Uniden cordless phone, and recently had some problems with the battery lasting less than a day on a charge. Consequently, I tried to call customer service, however Uniden only offers email customer service. I finally found a Texas number for them where one has to pay to call them
This is a far cry from Panasonic or Sony which both offer free, toll-free support. Apparently, Uniden is too cheap to offer a toll-free support number, and they want you to pay for the phone call. To add insult to injury, when I did finally call their pay support number, I had to wait twenty minutes for someone to answer. Simply pathetic. I would avoid this company. Apparently Uniden does not want to put any money towards customers, so why should customers pay for their phones?
